What's Up With Scott
Scott is staying busy at work as usual.  He still works for Florida Gas Transmission as Team Leader and Measurement Technician for the Lakeland team.  He likes his job, but sometimes wonders about ever becoming a team leader. 

He is currently playing hockey two nights a week.  One night is for the "Old Timers" league.  It's slow, but the people are good and he still gets a workout.  He is also playing on an intermediate team.  This is a little more exciting and much more fun to watch :> 

Softball season just got over, so he has a break from that, and he decided to take a little time off from bowling.  So, you say, how does he use up all that free time? 

Well, Scott is busy finishing the billions of projects that we have to do on the house.  The garage you see at the right is one of his favorite spots.  He has begun to set himself up a shop and is very happily sanding and staining trim and doors.

Here is a picture of our screen porch which most people have not seen yet. It is going to be awesome in the heat of the summer days.  It already is in the cool evenings.  No more bugs! 
  Next is the latest and greatest work by Scott, the garage.  Doesn't the paint job make it look great! Now for the rest of the doors on the house :> 
  Other interesting items are found on the interior of the house.  Dad and Mom came to Florida to help us settle in and lend a hand at painting.  Here are some pictures of what we did.  Dad did most of the work with one hand, but occasionally he did need our help.  Doesn't it look great!

She is taking one class this semester toward her Ph. D. in Instructional Technology, but is beginning to wonder if she really wants a Ph. D. after all.  Maybe it would be better to just go home and work on the house and enjoy all the hard work that has gone on for the last couple of years.  A break may be imminent. 

A little Fun in the Sun
The last few months have been football season.  We have season tickets to the USF Bulls and have not missed a home game since they started to play football last year.  Next comes basketball which we partake in as well.  Do you think there is enough hours in the day?
